As the holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, Kennedy Agyepong, a flag bearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim community in Ghana.
In a message filled with warmth and sincerity, Agyepong acknowledged the remarkable discipline, devotion, and sacrifice exhibited by Muslims throughout the fasting period.
Agyepong began by addressing the Muslim community as brothers, fellow Ghanaians, and cherished members of the Zongo families.
He praised their strength, faith, and humility, emphasizing that their commitment to peace, charity, and unity during Ramadan serves as a powerful reminder of the values that unite the Ghanaian people.
As Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations commence, Agyepong urged the Muslim community to rejoice in their accomplishments and to continue building a more inclusive and compassionate Ghana.
He expressed his deep appreciation for the invaluable contributions of Muslims to Ghana’s national identity, economy, and culture, highlighting their values of hospitality, community, and faith as pillars of Ghana’s strength.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has also demonstrated its support for the Muslim community by directing senior high schools to grant Muslim students a break to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their families .
