The Kofi Adade Foundation is expressing heartfelt gratitude to God and supporters of Marfo Elvis’s educational journey.
Marfo Elvis, a brilliant but needy student from Adisadel College, secured an impressive 8A1s in his WASSEC results.
However, he faced financial difficulties in pursuing his dream of studying medicine at Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology (KNUST) .
Fortunately, several individuals and organizations came forward to support Marfo Elvis’s educational journey.
Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, the Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency, presented a GHC 10,000 scholarship package, while Mr. Francis Opoku Asare (Kwame B) donated GHC 5,000.
Additionally, Mr. Kelvin Kwaku Yeboah, linked by Kumasi Metro Director of Education Mr. David Oppong, offered his support.
In a remarkable display of kindness, an old student of Adisadel College, Mr. Kabutey, paid six years school fees and hostel fees for Marfo Elvis, enabling him to pursue his medicine degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
Hon. Kofi Adade, CEO of the Kofi Adade Foundation, expressed his gratitude to these supporters and suggested that, Metropolitan,Municipal and District Assemblies establish special scholarship schemes to support brilliant but needy students.
He believes this initiative will have a positive impact on the next generation.
