Kumawu :New DCE Advised to Follow in Samuel Addai Agyekum’s Footsteps

The Paramount Chief of Kumawu, Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua, has advised the newly confirmed District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kumawu, Hon. Kwasi Amankwa, to emulate the humility, respect, and commitment to collaboration demonstrated by his immediate predecessor, Hon. Samuel Addae Agyekum.

During a courtesy visit to the Kumawu Traditional Council, the Kumawumanhene emphasized that Hon. Samuel Addae Agyekum’s notable success was largely due to his respectful relationship with traditional leaders and his openness to advice.

The Kumawumanhene attributed Hon. Samuel Addae Agyekum’s success to his humility, respect, and willingness to work closely with the traditional council.

He noted that this harmonious relationship brought real development to Kumawu and urged the new DCE to follow in his predecessor’s footsteps. By doing so, Hon. Kwasi Amankwa can build on the progress made and continue to advance development in the district.

The visit formed part of Hon. Kwasi Amankwa’s efforts to formally introduce himself to the traditional leadership and familiarize himself with ongoing projects in the district. Accompanied by senior officials from the district assembly, the new DCE was warmly received by the Kumawumanhene and other traditional leaders. During the visit, Hon. Kwasi Amankwa expressed gratitude for the warm reception and pledged to work in close partnership with the traditional council to advance development in Kumawu.
