The President’s nominee for the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwabre East in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Joseph Amankwah, has expressed his profound gratitude to traditional authorities in the municipality for their support and guidance.
Specifically, he thanked Barima Saasi Ayeboafo II, Chief of Mamponteng, the municipal capital, and Nana Fredua Agyemang Ababio, Chief of Kenyasi, among others.
In a press statement signed shortly after his nomination, Mr. Amankwah acknowledged the valuable advice and support he received from the traditional authorities, which he believed contributed positively to his nomination by the President through the Minister for Local Government.
He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the chiefs for their role in his journey.
Mr. Amankwah also extended his gratitude to his contenders for the competitive nomination process, acknowledging the strong competition they presented.
