The recent fire outbreak at Kwadaso Wood market left several families, including parents of pupils at Kwadaso SDA Primary ‘B’, devastated. The fire, which occurred twice within two weeks, caused significant destruction to market traders and households.
In response to the plight of the affected families, the staff of Kwadaso SDA Primary ‘B’ school came together to make a substantial donation. The staff contributed GHS 7,000, along with school bags, shoes, pens, pencils, and food items. Additional items included soaps, washing powder, standing fans, brooms, and dustpans.
During the presentation ceremony, Headteacher Mr. Edmund Bempong promised to support the affected pupils until their parents recover financially. He emphasized the importance of education and urged parents to prioritize their children’s learning.
Mr. Bempong also appealed to NGOs and individuals to assist the Kwadaso market fire victims, particularly the pupils from his school.
The parents who received the donations expressed heartfelt gratitude to the staff and school, praying for God’s protection and strength for their humanitarian efforts.
This charitable gesture by the school has brought hope and relief to the affected families, demonstrating the power of kindness and community support.
