Nana Nketia Boampong ii, the Chief of Kwaso in the Ejusu Municipality of the Ashanti Region has apologized to Mr. Agyanuro Appau, a journalist with Kessben FM.
The Chief, Nana Nketia threatened the journalist after a news report by the journalist about land issues at Kwaso.
The journalist Agyanuro Appau visited the Kwaso community to cover report over land after some land owners and farmers in the community accused the Chief for forcibly snatching their plot of lands from them and paying them his own interested amount.

After the publication by the journalist, Nana Nketia Boampong through his Chief Linguist (Okyeame) called the journalist on phone and threatened to dealing with him for publishing the news.
The matter was reported to the police to investigate.
The Chief , however,rendered an apology to the journalist and has retracted from his uncalled for utterances against the journalist.
For peace to prevail, the Journalist has accepted the Chief’s apology and has smoked peace with him.
