The assembly member for Kumawu Dadease electoral area in the Sekyere Kumawu District of the Ashanti Region, Hon.Kofi Adade has said that it’s about time we need to consider the plight of the widows in our societies.
Adding that, the welfare of the widows in his electoral area is very dear to him.
He made this statement when he was donating tubers of yam to the widows in his electoral area and explained further that, most of the widows in his electoral area are vulnerable and needed to be cared for.
He also said, he reached these people throw the support of some individuals and cooperate institutions and again called on Ghanaians to welcome them if they come to them oh behalf of the widows for assistance as assembly members are not paid and only have their strength from individuals.
