Let’s contribute to brilliant but needy students support fund-Deputy Speaker to Corpus Christi parishners in diaspora

Mr. Andrew Asiamah, the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament (MP) for Fomena in the Ashanti region has made a passionate appealed to all parishners of Corpus Christi parish both home and abroad to contribute in support of the brilliant but needy students support fund towards the church Home coming event slated to climax on the Sunday 25th, September 2023.

The Deputy Speaker who is a parishner at the Church in New Tafo (Krofrom) a suburb of Kumasi in the Manhyia South constituency is pleading with any family or person that had ever worship in the church in the past fifty years to visit the church as their home and wholeheartedly support the fund for the good course of the parish in benevolent way towards given a brighter future to the beneficiaries to become useful to the church and the society as a whole.
The Speaker’s appeal was a call to all members including those who are no more within the jurisdiction of the church since the Rev Father Caplice time as the parish priest of the Church to return to their root where they started worshiping to help the church give hope to the hopeless for a brighter future for them.
Rev. Father Richard Opoku Acheampong, the parish priest of the church also disclosed that the church has set a committee that organizies a Home coming activities to invites every parishner of the church both home and the diaspora towards the home coming slated to climax on sunday 25th september, 2023 with a fund raising event in support of the fund.
He disclosed that, there are activities put in place by the organizing committee towards the climax includes, Health walk and screening, including education on life cycle and counseling and gospel festival as side attraction.
