The Paramount Chief of Techiman Traditional Council Oseadeyor Akumfi Ameyaw IV, has called on Religious, Cooperate and all Other Groups in the area to support his vision of making the Bono East Regional capital the cleanest City in the whole of Ghana.
According to Oseadeyor Akumfi Ameyaw who is also a Member of the Council of State, Techiman is a cosmopolitan City which has the biggest food market in West Africa and therefore produces tonnes of refuse everyday but with the support of all Stakeholders, his aim of keeping the place clean could be actualized.

For his part, Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Jaani the Techiman Area Head of the Church of Pentecost reiterated that cleanliness is next to Godliness therefore pledged the Church’s continuous support to keep our environment clean always.
