Let’s vote for peace and development – Chief of Jema to electorate

Nana Amponsah Gyan II, Chief of Jema in the Bono East Region has urged the Ghanaian electorate to vote for peace, unity and development in the December 7 polls.
The chief, who doubles as the Kyidomhene of Nkoranza Traditional area in the Bono East Region said at the Yam Festival that Peace, Unity and development should be the focus of every individual voter as they go to the polls.
Nana Gyan condemned the politics of insults and advised voters to reject any party whose activities and conduct are questionable.
According to the Nkoranza Kyidomhene it pays to be law abiding and called for respect of the laws governing the voting process devoid of disturbances to ensure a free and fair election.
The Jema chief noted that transparency is the key to peace and urged the Electoral Commission to do all it can to maintain the peace currently prevailing to further move the country forward.
The head of Kyidom Family, Nana Effah Boako explained that Yam festivals are celebrated to remind the people of how the forefathers fought hard to protect our heritage.
He appealed to the electorate to vote massively for the party that preaches peace. E N D
