The Leader of the 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr says no matter the fallen state of man God still believes that there is potential in him to do things right.

Addressing the church’s year ending convention last Saturday, where it had brought together members of its congregation across the country to its new site at Feyiase, Elder Enoch from the theme “I have loved thee with an everlasting love-Jeremiah 31: 3” said the spirit of God in man draws him to do right things.

He noted that a surrendered life to God possesses every power to do exploits wherever one was placed in life.

“The earth will have its goodness from man when men get to know the Lord and surrender to his dictates and instructions”, Elder Ofori stated.

DEGRADATION:
The 7th Day Pentecostal leader expressed surprise at the manner people were destroying the forest cover of the country in search for gold.

He noted that the greed to make it in life no matter what causes men to become reckless in society.

Elder Ofori said many forget that when the environment is destroyed the nation would eventually become extinct.

“If we decide to destroy our forest cover, water bodies and carry out the degradation just to have gold in places where our foods are cultivated we will end up shutting down this country”, the leader cautioned.

ECONOMY:
Elder Ofori said it was good news that the Ghanaian economy was seeing some normalcy after a tumultuous setback due to the Russia  Ukraine  war.

This, he noted showed that whatever happened in the international world or on the globe has an effect on the country’s economic fortunes.

He however proposed that the country finds a way to wean itself from the import driven system it currently operates.

“If we continue to dwell with this import driven economic system we will have the rippling effect of global challenges such as what is happening in the Russia 🇷🇺 Ukraine 🇺🇦 war but I pray we learn lessons from it”, the Leader advised.
