“My intention of contesting as the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party for Ahafo Ano South West Constituency in the Ashanti Region is basically the idea and a call of able delegates at the constituency level.
I initially had a plan for that but eleven delegates from the Constituency approached me one day and told me about the need for me to contest as the MP for the area .
So my plans and theirs I will say is the will of God.”These were words from Mr.Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, Member Of Parliament Hopeful for Ahafo Ano South West.
Again, he has decided to go for the NPP PC in his constituency with some developmental initiatives he has already started .
He made this known during merry making ceremony with old and current delegates ,party activists and sympathizers last Friday at Mankranso,the District Capital.
According to him, he has started developmental projects in his constituency which includes the building of Party office structure which is yet to be completed.
A project of building Girls’ dormitories which can accommodate over 300 female students at Mankraso Senior High School in his constituency has been started
He added that, the building of the dormitory is aimed at reducing teenage pregnancies in the constituency and among students in the area.
“Giving more attention to roads and other projects in the area is my topmost priority,sooner than later ,as I become the MP of the area ,Mankranso and it’s environs will see tremendous change in terms of physical developmental projects.”He added.
He further acknowledged that the internal disagreement between the NPP party members should be put to a stop in order to break the eight .
