In a gesture of goodwill and kindness, Nana Kwasi Denkyi Agyekum, former NDC Parliamentary candidate for Subin constituency in the Ashanti Region, has donated assorted items to zongo communities in the constituency.
The donation, which includes boxes of Milo, Lipton, and bags of sugar, aims to support the communities as they prepare for the EID Ramadan fasting.
Nana Kwasi Denkyi Agyekum appealed to the communities to remember him and President John Dramani Mahama in their prayers during the fasting period.
He expressed his hope that God will help the President to deliver on his promises and solve the economic challenges facing the nation.
The constituency vice chairman, Christian Ayare, received the items on behalf of the communities and expressed his gratitude to Nana Kwasi Denkyi Agyekum for his continued support. Ayare praised Nana Denkyi’s commitment to the progress of the party at the constituency level.
Sheibu Chours, Constituency Organizer for Subin, echoed Ayare’s sentiments, stating that Nana Denkyi is the only person who can support the constituency.
Chours appealed to President Mahama and the appointment committee to consider Nana Denkyi for a good position, emphasizing that his appointment would bring development to the Subin constituency.
The donation is seen as a move to foster goodwill and unity among the communities, as well as to promote the well-being of the people.
As the Muslim communities prepare for the holy month of Ramadan, Nana Kwasi Denkyi Agyekum’s donation serves as a reminder of the importance of kindness, generosity, and community support.
