NDC is committed to effective leadership-Asiedu Nketia

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has emphasized his party’s perspective on governance, stating that they perceive it as entrusting authority to an individual to lead the people.

General Mosquito, a prominent figure within the NDC, underscored the importance of this approach, highlighting the party’s commitment to effective leadership and representation.

As the NDC continues to navigate the political landscape, their stance on governance reflects a belief in empowering leaders to guide and serve the community, a principle that shapes their political agenda and policies.

During his visit to New Edubiase as part of the”Building the Ghana we want”tour by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in the Ashanti Region, Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, said he’s on a mission to understand the challenges faced by the residents of the area.

This strategic move aligns with the party’s commitment to fostering better development by directly addressing the specific issues and concerns of the local community.

By engaging with the people and gaining insights into their pressing problems, Mr Nketia aims to contribute to a more comprehensive and targeted approach in formulating policies that can positively impact the lives of the residents in New Edubiase.

This on-the-ground assessment reflects the NDC’s dedication to responsive governance and tailored solutions for the enhancement of the town’s overall well-being.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia also emphasized that casting a vote signifies the selection of an individual to serve as a spokesperson for and by the people.

In his perspective, the act of voting is a fundamental democratic expression, wherein citizens empower someone to represent their interests, voice their concerns, and advocate for their needs.

Mr Nketia’s statement underscores the crucial role of elected representatives in being the conduits through which the will of the people is conveyed and acted upon in the political arena.

This perspective aligns with the core principles of democratic governance, where elected officials are entrusted with the responsibility of being true representatives of the collective voice of the electorates.
