The administrative delivery of Hon Alidu Seidu, Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Asokore Mampong Municipality has earned him an honour from the authorities of the European Union funded No Business as Usual (NBU) Project.

Just last week 16th November 2019, officials of NBU embellished the local government official with a citation in recognition of his meritorious service and its attendant impact on the lives of people within the Municipality.

The citation was presented to him by the Programms Director for SOS Children’s Villages-Kumasi Mr. Bernard Amoako and Coordinator for the NBU Project Madam Esther Matey at the 3rd graduation event which was held at the forecourt of the hub.

CITATION

An unedited extract of the citation reads;

“… You have exemplified true leadership in your role as MCE of the Asokore Mampong Municipality. Your style of leadership has given meaning to leadership in the 21st century that leadership is not only taking responsibility but more so empowering others.

You have advocated and championed this course through your human centered approach to development in the Municipality.

You have created opportunity for a larger number of youth in this Municipality to aim higher and achieve more.

If your actions create a legacy that inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are indeed an influential leader.

We appreciate your support and committment to the partnership between SOS Children’s Villages, European Union and the Asokore Mampong Municipality in rolling out the No Business as Usual…”

The presentation was witnessed by former assembly members, opinion leaders, CSOs, traditional leaders, residents and trainees of NBU Project.
