A walk has been organized by constituency chairmen, regional youth organizers, and National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidates to rally support for the choice of Hon Julius Debrah, a former Chief of staff, as President John Mahama’s running mate in the 2024 general elections.
Hundreds of NDC members and grassroots supporters who agree that Hon Julius Debrah should be considered for the role joined in on the solidarity walk from Ayi Mensah Tollbooth to Peduase Lodge.
The New Juaben South Constituency Chairman for the NDC, Selassie Amuzu, spoke to the media at Peduase Lodge to conclude the walk.
Speaking on behalf of the constituency chairmen, he asserted that Hon Julius Debrah is the ideal choice of the NDC and many Ghanaians to work with John Mahama to overthrow the NPP in 2024.
He claimed ,Hon Julius Debrah, a successful businessman and politician who rose through the political ranks to become regional chairman, minister, and chief of staff, is the ideal candidate to be taken into consideration for the position due to his competence and dedication to nation building.
