Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has clarified that there are currently no plans to decongest traders at Adum.
This statement comes amidst concerns about the congested state of the area. As the newly appointed Regional Minister, Dr. Amoakohene we as nominated by President John Dramani Mahama and has since been approved by Parliament where he officially started work yesterday.
While Dr. Amoakohene has emphasized the importance of completing stalled projects in the Ashanti Region, particularly markets, it seems that decongesting traders at Adum is not an immediate priority .
The Regional Minister has promised a thorough review to identify the root causes of delays in these projects.
