Nana Obiri Yeboah, the Chief of Nuaso, a community in the Bosomtwe constituency, has commended Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Member of Parliament for the area, for his tireless efforts in improving the living standards of the people in the constituency.
Since assuming office, Dr. Adutwum has brought significant development to the area, including improvements in education, provision of portable drinking water, electricity, sanitation, and road infrastructure, among others.
The Chief made the commendation during a thank-you tour of Dr. Adutwum and his team, which started last Sunday and ended yesterday.
While expressing his gratitude for the MP’s efforts, the Chief also appealed to him to focus on developing his community.
Specifically, he requested that Dr. Adutwum help provide teachers’ bungalows, improve the road network, and enhance sanitation in the area.
One of the key issues raised by the Chief was the need to complete an ultra-modern 20-seater toilet facility that the community has constructed.
He appealed to Dr. Adutwum to provide support to complete the project, which would significantly improve sanitation in the area.
The Chief also brought to the MP’s attention the dilapidated state of a five-unit classroom block that was constructed in 1956.
He appealed to Dr. Adutwum, a former Minister of Education, to help rehabilitate the facility to provide a conducive learning environment for students.
Furthermore, the Chief requested that Dr. Adutwum help bridge the Primary School and the Junior High School (JHS) so that they can be located in one place and serve a united purpose.
He also emphasized the need for an ICT lab in the schools, which would enable students to acquire knowledge in information and communication technology and compete with their peers in urban areas.
Additionally, the Chief called on Dr. Adutwum to establish a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) center in the area. Given the community’s central location, serving many towns and villages, the Chief believes that a TVET center would provide valuable skills training opportunities for residents.
In response to the Chief’s appeals, Dr. Adutwum assured him of his commitment to working with the community to address their challenges and improve their lives.
The MP’s efforts in bringing development to the constituency have earned him appreciation from the people, and his willingness to listen to their concerns and work towards addressing them is a testament to his dedication to his constituents.
The Chief’s commendation of Dr. Adutwum’s development efforts is a reflection of the positive impact that effective leadership can have on a community.
As the MP continues to work with the people of Bosomtwi, it is expected that the constituency will experience further development and growth, improving the lives of its residents.
