Nyame Nti Na Ye Tease Foundation Donates to Two Orphanages in Accra

A charitable Foundation, Nyame Adom Nti Na Ye Tease “Adom ooo!” has donated some food and other items to two orphanage homes in Accra in the Greater Accra Region.

Some of the items included diapers, toys , dresses, cooking oils, assorted fruit drinks, sachet water and among others .

The two beneficial homes were Potter’s Village Children’s Home at Dodowa and House of Mercy Orphanage Home at Oyarifa .

The gesture according to the Foundation is to support the homes especially in the wake of the Christmas festivity.

Presenting the items, Mrs Felicity Kwaakye on behalf of the Foundation further reiterated that the periodic donation by the above-mentioned NGO formed part of its Corporate Social responsibility initiative to give back to society in a bid to cater for the welfare of the vulnerable.

She recalled that the they have had made similar donations to many orphanage homes in Ghana in the past as a hospitality facility that takes the plight of the less privileged at heart.

She however acknowledge the impact and contribution of others who always come to their aid to support them whenever they want to undertake any donation especially those in abroad, she described their contribution as exceptional and asked them to continue with the support.

The Director of the House of Mercy Orphanage Home,, Rev William Tetteh on behalf of the Home expressed appreciation to the foundation for the gesture and assured that they will use the items judiciously to enhance their living conditions.

He appealed to churches, corporate organizations, and philanthropists to also come to the aid of the children since they lack a lot of things.

The Director of the Potter’s Village Children’s Home Mrs Sophia Myer on behalf of the Home presented a certificate to the Foundation as mean of appreciation and thanked them for reaching out to the children.
