Hon. Anwel Sadat Ahmed emphasized the importance of community involvement in health initiatives, stating, “Let’s build a healthier community together.” This initiative reflects the commitment of both Hon. Ahmed and Hon. Mubarak to improving the health and wellbeing of residents in the Oforikrom and Asawase constituencies.
The collaboration between the MCE for Oforikrom and the MP for Asawase ensures that these essential health services are accessible to community members across different locations. By holding the screenings at community-centric locations like mosques and a party office turned community venue, the organizers aim to maximize outreach and participation.
Early detection through screenings like those being offered can significantly impact the management and treatment of health issues such as breast cancer and eye problems. These screenings provide an opportunity for individuals to assess their health status, receive professional advice, and take preventive measures.
Residents of Oforikrom and Asawase are encouraged to take advantage of this free health screening initiative. By participating, community members can gain valuable insights into their health, contributing to the overall goal of building a healthier community.
