Okaikwei Central MP Supports Traders Affected by Kumasi Market Fire

Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, has demonstrated his commitment to supporting those in need with a generous donation of GHs 50,000 and 200 bags of cement to traders affected by the Adum PZ fire outbreak in Kumasi. This devastating fire destroyed the businesses of over 10,000 traders, leaving them in a state of distress.

Hon. Boamah’s donation was presented during an inspection visit to the affected area, where he was accompanied by Hon. Kofi Obiri Yeboah, Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency, as well as NPP regional executives and constituency chairmen. This gesture is a testament to Hon. Boamah’s dedication to the well-being of his constituents and those affected by the fire.

Addressing the traders, Hon. Boamah expressed his sadness at the level of devastation and pledged to provide additional support. He promised to donate an extra GHs 50,000 when the redevelopment of the market commences.
