Over 40,000 NDC members yesterday stormed Afigya Sekyere East Constituency in the Ashanti Region with the 24hr economy sensitization walk.

The walk was to sensitize the general public on how the NDC will run the economy should Ghanaians vote for them in election 2024.

Headed by Mr Evans Amo Twumasi, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the area, the walk took members through the principal streets of AGONA and it environs.

The Parliamentary Candidate was astonished about the attendance and was grateful for the massive support.

Speaking in an interview after the walk, he made an emphatic statement that , NPP as a political party is a disgrace to Ghanaians.

Adding that, communities like Agona,Jamasi,Wiamoasi and Kona in the said constituency are all lacking behind interns of rural development.

He revealed that the said constituency had voted for the NPP and its MP,Hon Mavis NKansah Boadu on several occasions but cannot furnish the constituency with development.

He said the Constituency has been neglected when it comes to the distribution of the national Cake but shifted the blame on the sitting MP for failing to execute her duty as the representative of the area.

He however appealed to electorates in the area to vote for him and John Dramani Mahama in election 2024 to transform the fortunes of the constituency he’s aspiring for.

He promised that ,the next NDC government is going to establish starch factory in the constituency so that farmers could convert their cassava products into starch to ensure safe storage and get profit.

He however promised to fence all government schools in the Constituency to prevent encroachment and also ensure the safety of pupils, students and teachers should he be elected as the MP in 2025
