Joana Cudjoe Gyan, NDC Parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central in the Western Region, who is also the Western Regional patron of the women working committee has presented GH¢20,000 cash to each Women’s organiser of the 17 Constituencies in the Western Region to support their efforts in the December 7th, 2024 elections.
Joana Gyan Cudjoe recognizes the crucial role women play in the party’s organization, especially during elections.
Joana Gyan Cudjoe who also presented ghc100,000 to the Regional Women’s organiser and ghc30,000 each to her deputies explained that the donation aims to empower the Women organisers to mobilize more women for the party.
In total, she presented ghc500,000 to the region.
Presenting the amount to the Western Regional women’s organiser, madam Gladys Egyire and the Deputy Western Regional treasurer, Ms Mirian Plange-Kwofie, in her office,Joana Gyan Cudjoe emphasized the importance of unity and called on all party supporters to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal.
She urged everyone to join the campaign to ensure victory for the John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman ticket, as well as all 17 NDC Parliamentary Candidates in the Western Region.
This generous donation demonstrates Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s commitment to supporting women in politics and ensuring the NDC’s success in the upcoming elections.
