Hon. Afful Manu Benjamin, the Parliamentary candidate hopeful on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tain constituency has asked the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to concentrate on providing more developmental projects in their strongholds to break the eight (8).
Responding to questions on the just-ended by-election at Assin North in an exclusive interview with Appiah-Kubi, Hon. Afful stated that the Assin North by-election is a wake-up call for the ordinary citizens in the country to consider voting for development and not for party or personal interest.
According to him, the constituent did not construe the developments the NPP was doing.
“The ongoing development in the Assin North is bonafide that the NPP government is determined to develop the area and for that reason, the constituents should have glee to vote for the NPP candidate”, he stressed.
“We vote for development and not for party or personal interest, what the Assin North people did was a wake-up call to show that they did not need any development but to just vote for their favorite”, he reiterated.
He added and urged electorates to assess and vote for the best candidate chosen with its government in power to bring development to their constituencies.
He concluded that the electorates need to wake up and know more about voting and urged the NPP government to concentrate more on providing developmental projects in the party’s strongholds to break the eight (8).
Hon. Afful also appealed to delegates to vote for him in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries in the Tain constituency.
