The Residents, told newsmen that the military raided the community at 1pm in seven military vehicles.

According to them, a lot of the youth were assaulted including women and School children, a development which subjected most of the residents into severe beatings leaving most of them to  sustain degrees of injuries while others sought asylum in the bush.

They told the media that, the invasion of the military has seen teachers, students and nurses fleeing the area.

Adding that most of the students and their teachers in the area have not since retuned from their hideout.

The assembly member for the area, Hon Mark Amponsah however, discounted this claim.
