Fully armed soldiers have invaded the floor of Ghana’s parliament to restore calm as confusion rocks over the election of speaker of parliament.
It appeared that the election process of the inauguration of the 8th parliament of the 4th republic didn’t go down well with the minority in parliament which gingered them to resist the electoral process.
The minority side booted the ballot box and ensured that proper thing is done of which the majority reacted which nearly brought chaos in the floor of parliament.
According to the Marshal of the parliament house, things have gone beyond their imagination hence the call for re-enforcement team to calm down nerves.
The NDC side of MPs resisted the invasion of the soldiers chanted patriotic songs on them until the military left the house.
