Suame roads to be asphalted by 2020

The Majority Leader and Member of Parliament for Suame , Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, says major roads in the Suame Constituency will be asphalted from February 2020 .

According to him, about 50 kilometers roads will be asphalted and all electoral areas shall witness such quality roads.

He disclosed that the contractor will complete the construction of the 23 kilometer drains by January 2020 to pave way for the roads to be asphalted.

Hon Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu who is the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs made these known today after inspecting the construction of drains by Messrs Kofi Job Construction Company.

The areas visited include Tarkwa Anomangye, Maakro, Abusuakuruwa, Bremang , Kronum Kwapra and Aboahia Kyeraase.

Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu described the constructed drains as quality and commended the contractor for such works.

The Majority Leader disclosed that he only facilitated for construction of such roads which is being financed by government adding No MP can use his common fund to construct road.

The Majority Leader therefore tasked the Suame Municipal Assembly (SMA) to as a matter of urgency, remove unapproved structures on the roadside to facilitate the project.
