The Second Vice Chairman for Suame Constituency of New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Richard Asante, has commended the Majority Leader and Member of Parliament for Suame for his decision to construct a district court at Bremang in Kumasi. The commendation came after Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu had cut a sod for commencement of the court on Thursday. Speaking to the media, Mr Asante said the modern facility, when completed, will embody various offices to facilitate adjudication of cases. According to him, the facility will also house officers of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), to ensure mediation and out of court settlement. He disclosed that the court will have two offices for the registrar, offices for cashier and secretary as well as an electronic docket room. The Vice Chairman said currently, the constituency can boast of district police station and other stations, hence it has become troublesome for cases to be sent to courts outside the municipality for trial.
