Tackle House Mining in Asante Akim Central-MCE told

The Juabenhene and President of Juaben Traditional Authority, Daasebre Otuo Serebuo, has advised the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akim Central, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ekow Aidoo, regarding the menace of house mining in the municipality.

During a meeting with management and the MCE at the celebration of the 4th Akeasidae yesterday , Daasebre Otuo Serebuo expressed deep concern about the dangers posed by house mining, citing its serious implications for the lives of residents.

The Juabenhene’s advice comes at a time when concerns about house mining have reached alarming levels in the Asante Akim municipality.

Daasebre Otuo Serebuo described the situation as “worrying” and urged Rev. Dr. Aidoo to take immediate and effective measures to bring the practice to an end. He emphasized that the safety and well-being of the people should be a top priority for the municipal authorities.
