Dear all, H. E. the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was taunted at the Global Citizen Festival, 2022 stage at the Black Star Square in Greater Accra.

President Nana Addo ended his keynote speech amidst scoffing from the crowd. He talked about the government of Ghana’s involvement in obliterating destitution and ratifying national unity.

He began his speech this way, “Ladies and gentlemen, I extend a hearty Akwaaba, our word of welcome, from a very hospitable people to all of you, who have come from afar and wide, to our vibrant city of Accra, Ghana’s capital, to join us on this great occasion.” The president dealt with the impact of climate change and the Russian-Ukraine war on the economy of Ghana and the world.

Moreover, President Nana Addo asked the youth to be creative and daring in finding solutions to world problems.

Unfortunately, the crowd ridiculed him with “away chants”. And this is a sign of dissatisfaction due to the incompetency demonstrated by the President.

Undoubtedly, Ghanaians have regretted having him their president. He does not listen to the very people who voted for him. He promised many but concentrated on a few needless ones.

President Nana Addo informed Ghanaians to try to do some of the following:
1. 1 district, 1 factory.
2. 1 district, 1 dam.
3. Cape coast harbor.
4. 1 constituency, $1m yearly.
5. 1 region, 1 theatre to harness talents and boost the movie industry.
6. Planting for food and jobs.
7. To end corruption.
8. Development of interconnected roads, railways, ports, and harbors (RRHPs) systems.
9. Quality, affordable housing.
10. To fight galamsey.
11. To create an abundance of jobs.
12. To relegate missionary schools to churches.
13. To implement Free SHS and ensure access, equity, quality education, etc.

Countrymen, all the above promises made by the president are a mirage. The Free SHS policy is implemented but beneficiaries are just passing through without knowledge and skills acquisition.

Action People’s Party (APP) would like to advise president Nana Addo to reduce the talks and deliver his promises. He told us that he would build affordable housing but he’s imposing a national cathedral on us. He must act as a leader and not a boss.

Ghanaians should humbly vote for Action People’s Party (APP) in the coming 2024 general election to restore hope.

APP! Time for the youth. Thank you.

Signed
