The Tatale-Sanguli District Assembly, through the Office of the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Mary Tagba, is set to organise a clean-up exercise at Kpabultabu on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
The exercise, which is expected to bring together residents and other stakeholders, forms part of efforts to promote environmental cleanliness, proper sanitation and a healthy living environment within the district.
According to the announcement from the Office of the DCE, the exercise will commence at 7:30 a.m., with Krabultabu serving as the meeting point for participants.
The Assembly is expected to use the exercise to encourage residents to take greater responsibility for the cleanliness of their communities and to adopt proper sanitation practices.
The initiative also underscores the importance of community participation in maintaining clean surroundings, preventing the accumulation of waste and reducing sanitation-related health risks.
Residents of Krabultabu and surrounding communities are therefore encouraged to participate actively in the exercise and contribute to efforts to improve environmental sanitation in the Tatale-Sanguli District.
The Office of the DCE has urged participants to assemble at the designated meeting point on time as the exercise gets underway at 7:30 a.m.
The clean-up exercise comes as local authorities across the country continue to emphasise community involvement as a key component of efforts to address sanitation challenges and create healthier and more sustainable communities.
