Hon Eric Owura Agyekum, the Presiding member for Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly and New Patriotic Party’s assistant secretary for the Ahafo Ano South West Constituency, has urged members of the Tertiary Students Confideracy (TESCON) to remain united and work hard to help the party break the ‘eight’ in the 2024 general election.

According to him, if TESCON is united, more students would be attracted to join. He urged them to support grassroot work to well position the party ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Hon. Eric Owura Agyekum was addressing members of Akenten Appiah Menkah University of Skills Training & Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), branch of TESCON during an orientation programme on the theme: ”The role of TESCON (intellectual wing) in breaking the “8”.

He further encouraged them to abide by the principles of TESCON, which will help the party to breed competent future leaders for the party and the nation.

Hon Agyekum said TESCON should work to help the party retain political power and break the eight-year governance rule in the country.

His advice to them was to preach the good programmes and policies initiated by the NPP government form 2017 to date.

He commended the TESCON branch for their commitment to the party and expressed the hope that they would cajole more students to join and support NPP to win the 2024 presidential election and also better the lives of Ghanaians.
