National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress,Mr.Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has said that, traders across the country will enjoy descent market facilities under the second coming of his Excellency John Dramani Mahama as the president of the republic.
According to him,NDC has market men and women at heart that was why it constructed alot of good markets coupled with well furnished materials to ease their work.
He said, especially in the Ashanti region,the John Dramani Mahama administration constructed the new Kejetia market which is furnished with clinic to take care of the sick, school to cater for traders’ children ,fire station to attend to emergency situation and many others.
Again,alot of satellite markets were also constructed in the Ashanti region and president Mahama is poised to do more in his second coming.
Mr.Ofosu Ampofo further indicated ,the NDC has accounted to ‘Asanteman’on the kind of developmental projects it was able to fetch to the region and is challenging the NPP which says it has Asanteman at heart to do same.
He made this known during a Town Hall Meeting held by the NDC at great Hall,KNUST campus.
