A 40-year-old man, Kwabena Tandoh, has been found dead in a bush at Assin Bosomadwe in the Assin South District of the Central Region. The deceased, a native of Assin Bosomadwe, had been seeking spiritual healing for a swollen neck at a prayer camp in Akrampa.
According to his uncle, Abusuapanin Amponsah, Kwabena had been at the prayer center for some time but suddenly went missing during healing. A search party was organized, but he was nowhere to be found.
Abusuapanin Amponsah was shocked to discover his nephew’s lifeless body in the bush, partially clothed in black jeans trousers and a belt. The community is shaken, with some residents reporting a strong, unpleasant odor coming from the bush two days prior.
Kwabena leaves behind two children, although he was separated from his wife. The police at Assin South are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
The incident has raised questions about the safety and supervision of patients at prayer camps. As the investigation unfolds, the community remains in shock, seeking answers about the mysterious circumstances surrounding Kwabena’s death.
