UN staff installed Chief Of Atwima Wioso community

Nana Kwakwah Bene Ababio II, known in his private life as Dniel Kofi Kankam and Otumfuo Anantahene Kyeame who work with United Nations (UN) as the Chairman for Africa Regional Mechanicsm for Major groups and other stakeholders Economic Commission of Africa has been installed as the substantive Chief of Atwima-Wioso community of the Atwima Nwabiagya South municipality in the Ashanti region.

Nana Kwakwah Ababio who was installed and introduced to the residents of the community at a grand durbar promised the residents to inculcate the rich experience he gained from the UN to ensure that education in the community being his priority to compliment the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 16 as has been their priority and so important to the United Nation’s.
Nana Kwakwah who is also a convener of Ghana Civil Society Organisation Platform at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) is also serving as African Regional Coordinator of Action for Sustainable Development and the representative of (Africa) High Level Political Forum Coordination Mechanism, and works at National Fiscal (Global Network for Disaster and Risk Reduction).
Nana is also the Chairman of United Nations NGO groups for Africa and West Africa Regional Organizing Partner for United Nations NGO Major group.
He pleaded with the stakeholders and the youth in the community to team up with Nananom to champion the welfare and improve health and Sanitation conditions for all.
Nana Kwakwah also promised to collaborate with Nana Baffuor Ofosu Twetwapa the Otumfuo Anantahene to realize their dreams and plans to invest in the educational system by ensuring that, very soon the community could boast of Junior High, Senior High School and possibly tertiary education in the community.
He disclosed that, currently the community is lacking a place of convenience and for that matter, would ensure that there is a modern toilet facility and a clinic to serve the community towards his agenda to improve sanitation and health system within the community.
He entreated the youth to embrace hardwork with determination, discipline and vigilance to realize their dreams of becoming responsible adults and citizens for the Wioso community, Ashanti region and the country as a whole in contributing their quota to the socio-economic development of the country.
Nana Kwakwah Ababio II, expressed his profound gratitude to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Nana Baffuor Twetwapa Anantahene for endorsing his selection, commended the family members and the community for the confi reposing in him by given him the opportunity to serve and work together for the betterment of Wioso.
