Have many times do you urinate during the night?
Urinating more than 5 times during the night till morning may not be normal as most people may think of? Drinking lots of water during the night account for this but it is not always so. This might also be caused from other health complications we are yet to find out. In general old people mostly urinate during the night than the young ones. Our system produce fewer antidiuretic hormones as we grow older because of this adults may urinate more than young people.
Aside these, people with weaker bladder muscle, bacteria urinary infections and drinking of drugs that may promote the urge to pee is also a cause and may lead to frequent urine at night.
Aside all these cause other health complications may arise from:
1. Diabetes.
When your kidneys cannot keep up, the excess glucose is excreted into your urine, dragging along fluids from your tissues, which makes you dehydrated. This will usually leave you feeling thirsty. As you drink more fluids to quench your thirst, you will urinate even more and more. This people mostly urinate more in the night.
2. Pregnancy.
For early pregnancy, the uterus mostly puts pressure on the bladder which results in frequent urine. This people pee most during night.
3.Interstitial cystitis.
Stroke and other patients with neurological conditions when the nerves that supplies the bladder is damaged. This mostly results in frequent and unexpected urine.
4.Prostate problems.
An enlarged prostate can press against the urethra (the tube that carries urine out the body) and block the flow of urine. This causes the bladder wall to become irritable. The bladder begins to contract even when it contains small amounts of urine, causing more frequent urination. Urine is more during night hours.
