Former Parliamentary Candidate Aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Sekyere Afram Plains, Dr Kwabena Duffuor Jnr, has visited registration centers in the ongoing limited voter registration exercise by the Electoral Commission (EC).

The Business Executive and well-known member of the largest opposition party utilized the opportunity to interact with the Parliamentary Candidate for the NDC in the Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency.

Some registrants have been complaining about the means of transport to the EC office to register although the parliament candidate for the area has been doing her best in transporting some of the registrants.

As part of his contribution to assist and support the transportation of the registrants to the EC offices, the son of the former Finance Minister donated an undisclosed amount of money to the NDC Parliamentary Candidate to aid in the exercise.

Dr Duffuor assured the Parliamentary Candidate of his unflinching support to her to secure and maintain the seat for the NDC in the 2024 general election.

Not only the registration center at the Sekyere Afram Plains that he visited, but he also visited the registration center in the Asante Akyem Agogo to observe the registration exercise.

Although he was excited by the comportment of the various political parties at the registration centers, he wished the exercise would have been conducted at the electoral areas to cut down the cost of transportation to the EC offices to register.
