Led by Osei Assibey Chaucer,team member of Hon Kennedy Agyepong has stated emphatically that, it would be suicidal for them to turn their back against Kennedy Agyepong.
Kennedy Agyepong is a flagbearer aspirant of the ruling New Patriotic Party in Ghana.
According to him, loyal members of Hon Kennedy Agyepong do not just stand up and change their minds anyhow.
Addressing newsmen in front of the Afigya Kwabre North NPP Constituency office at Boaman today, Spokesperson for team Kennedy in the area stated emphatically that ,one Adul Aziz Ismail popularly known as Kennedy Ba and a polling station Executive at Kwaman Methodist in the Afigya Kwabre North Constituency declared his support for Dr Bawumia based on reasons known to himself.
But his unitary decision does not mean all NPP delegates in the said constituency have defected from the camp of Kennedy Agyepong to that of Dr Bawumia.
“As loyal members of Kennedy Agyepong,we know what he’s capable of doing so we will never let someone deceive us because we are matured minded people and we take concrete decisions by ourselves.”He maintained.
He revealed that,there’s no way Dr Bawumia can defeat Kennedy Agyepong in the Nov 4 presidential primaries so as very committed and dedicated people there’s no way they are going to change their minds to follow a failure (Dr Mahamodu Bawumia)as far as the flagbearership race is concerned.
“We are looking for a winnable flagbearer for the 2024 polls and Hon Kennedy Agyepong stands tall among all the candidates,so why changing our decision? We are not awkward minded people,we know what is good and who can better our lives.Kennedy Agyepong is business oriented person coupled with humility and hard-working, he’s never a failure and our votes for him will transform Ghana and Africa at large.”He further indicated.
Mr.Osei Assibey Chaucer described Hon Kennedy Agyepong as the rightful candidate to be the flagbearer of the NPP in 2024 indicating that their choice is devoid of inducement or any personal gain but for the general good of the NPP and Ghana.
He however called on NPP delegates to treat the said fake publication by the stomach directed politician (Abdul Aziz) with the needed contempt it deserves and rally behind Kennedy Agyepong for a better future..
