Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, former Director of Elections and currently a member of the Manifesto Committee of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has issued a rallying cry to fellow party members.
He urged them to spare no effort in securing a resounding and indisputable victory in the upcoming general elections on December 7th, 2024.
In his address, Mr. Afriyie Ankrah emphasized the critical need for the NDC to thwart any attempts at manipulation by government machinery seeking to alter the will of Ghanaian voters. He stressed the importance of unity, forgiveness, vigilance, and hard work as essential elements for success in the electoral process.
Speaking during the Iftar with esteemed members and executives of the Okaikoi South Constituency Muslim Community, Mr. Afriyie Ankrah highlighted the pivotal role of leadership under John Mahama and the NDC in shaping Ghana’s future. He called upon the NDC family to unite, redouble their efforts, and channel the discipline gained during the fasting period into prayer and diligent work for the party’s success.
The event was attended by key figures such as Baaba Sadiq, Parliamentary Candidate for Okaikoi Central, and Mallam Doku, representing the National Chairman, along with other representatives from national leadership. Ernest Adomako, the Parliamentary Candidate, and members of the Zongo Caucus also participated, demonstrating their collective commitment to the collective cause of the NDC.
