You’ve not recruited ‘mchomen’ – Ashanti Regional NDC Treasurer blasts critics

The Ashanti Regional Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Marvin Philip Frazer Norman, had strongly refutes claims made by the ruling NPP that the NDC as a political is recruiting body-built men to jeopardize the 2024 election.

He made it clear that the NDC is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process, vowing to resist any attempts that will see to the smooth running of the elections.

During a press conference held in Kumasi while overseeing the distribution of essential items to the 47 constituencies in the Ashanti region, Mr Marvin emphatically denied the accusations, labeling them as “patently untrue”and urging the public to disregard such misinformation.

The rationale behind the provision of 470 sacks of rice, fuel ,containers, sanitary pad,napkins, and medical items was to energize party agents towards the preparation of the elections.

The action is to also empower members to be ready and committed to safeguard the ballot for a resounding victory ahead of December 7 elections.

 

The gesture was met with appreciation and gratitude from numerous parliamentary candidates, constituency chairpersons, and female coordinators who accepted the provisions on behalf of their constituencies.

They praised Mr Marvin for his generosity and pledged to work diligently to protect the party’s interests and ensure a successful electoral outcome.
