Abass Nurudeen of the National Democratic Congress has said that God would not forgive the NDC if they spare the President even if he is in a wheelchair at that time.
He claims the President, the Vice President, and others in the NPP have lied to the nation about their efforts to combat galamsey.
Mr. Nurudeen, appearing on Akoma FM’s GhanAkoma on October 7, 2022, said that the millions of dollars lost on the issue were part of a plan to wean the public off of drug use and give members of the NPP more freedom to participate in criminal activity.
He signaled that the recent charges between former Minister of Environment, Innovation, and Technology Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng and Central Regional 1st Vice Chair of the party Ekow Ewusi are evidence that the NPP had taken the lead in promoting the unlawful act.
