President of the Tertiary students confedracy(TESCON) chapter of the Akrokerri College of Education( AKROTCO), Miss Agyei Gyimah Queen Elizabeth, has expressed her commitment to rekindling the spirit of students for the good of NPP on AKROTCO campus.
At the college’s maiden edition freshers Orientation and leadership summit program held on Sunday 12, 2023. On the Theme; “Rejuvenating The Student Base; The Role of TESCON in Breaking The 8”. Miss Gyimah Queen, an outstanding female TESCON president in a male dominated institution, exibitited her prowess as a female leader to rally support and resources for the TESCON branch in the Akrokerri College of Education.
“I would charge all students in the 46 colleges of education across the country, especially, our young and vibrant 21st century potential female tutors to expect a good future in the only party(NPP) that has proven to care for students in Colleges of Education. Hence, all should come onboard for a better tomorrow as teachers through the New Patriotic Party,” She said.
Miss Agyei Gyimah Queen Elizabeth, concluded by expressing her heartfelt gratitude to all invited guests who showed up in person or through their various representatives for their unfeigned support in numerous ways to making the program a success.And also pleaded with the party leadership to continue to support and mentor young patriots like herself as they are willing to go all out to propagate the successes of NPP within and beyond the Adansi Fomena enclave to help break the eight.
The program in attendance saw; Hon. Eric Kusi, D.C.E for Fomena, Hon. Sam Pyne, Mayor for K.M.A, Hon. Hon. Faustina Amissah, D.C.E for Obuasi East, Hon. Amoah Awuku, M.C.E for Atwima Nwabiagya South,Dr. Francis Adomako, Ashanti regional NPP organiser,Mr. Sarfo Raphael Patrick, Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Yahaya Salifu, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Duodu, First Vice Chairman for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Fomena Constituency Executives and a host of other dignitaries. Who all congratulated the past and present TESCON executives of the Akrokerri College of Education and charged them to put all hands on deck to help execute the unprecedented task ahead “breaking the eight”.
