Dr Mrs Joana Gyan-Cudjoe, Parliamentary Aspirant hopeful on the ticket of the NDC has said that those in the gold business in Amenfi Central will be given education and proper training to ensure responsible mining in the area when she becomes the MP for the area.
“As number one gold exporter in Ghana I have more links with big foreign mining companies who can assist us in doing responsible mining in Amenfi Central”.
According to her, Amenfi Central is endowed with gold but lacks proper education towards it extraction so her office as the MP will seek for the intervention of foreign nationals who have the skills and proper management in mining to ensure that the extraction of gold in the Country does not affect our forest and the water bodies.
Speaking at the official launch on her campaign at Wassa Agona in the Amenfi Central Constituency in the Western Region yesterday, Dr Mrs Joana Gyan-Cudjoe further indicated that if elected as the MP,her office will also see to it that farming would be lucrative.
According to her some selected farmers from the Constituency would be taken Abroad to acquire knowledge on modern way of farming.
This she believes will increase their knowledge on farming to increase productivity in the Country.
The Affable and dedicated female politician also assured the youth to instill faith in her because the development of the youth in the Country is her topmost Priority.
The only female among the aspirants who is number five (#5) on the ballot appealed to delegates to vote massively for her on May 13th ,2024 for the development of Amanfiman.
