Speaking on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama as Guest of Honour at a commemorative dinner held in Accra, Mr. Debrah described Delta’s entry into the Ghanaian market in 2006 as a landmark decision that demonstrated confidence in Ghana’s economic prospects and its enduring partnership with the United States.

“When Delta launched its nonstop service between Ghana and the United States 20 years ago, it was more than a commercial decision; it was a bold statement of confidence in Ghana and in the future of this partnership,” he stated.

The anniversary celebration brought together government officials, aviation industry players, members of the diplomatic corps, travel and tourism stakeholders, corporate partners, media practitioners, airline staff and loyal customers to commemorate the milestone.

Also present was a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce Ghana, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Doris Kafui Afanyedey.

Mr. Debrah noted that over the past two decades, Delta Air Lines has evolved into a trusted bridge connecting families, businesses, students and professionals between Ghana and the United States, thereby fostering stronger economic, social and cultural relations.
