Hon Adjei Baffour Acquah( SOLAR) – Ashanti Regional Youth Finance Committee Member of the National Democratic Congress has expressed worry over total neglect of the Ashantis by H. E. President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo during his recent State of the Nation Address( SONA).
According to him,Ashanti Region is the strong hold of NPP and nothing substantial was targeted for the region and its time Ghanaians vote them out of power in 2024 general elections.
According to him,former President H. E. John Dramani Mahama did very well in terms of providing physical developmental projects to the Ashanti Region.
He mentioned of the Fomena hospital,kumawu hospital, Tepa hospital,Sewua hospital,Afari military hospital , together with uncountable markets and schools in the region.
He was very upset as to why President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo failed to address the needs of the people in Ashanti Region in his recent and last address to the Nation.
He revealed that all proposed projects Nana Addo promised to furnish in the Ashanti Region were not captured in his last address to the Nation .
He mentioned projects like the promised five interchanges in the Ashanti Region,the komfo anokye project and other equally important developmental projects he promised to do for the people of Ashanti Region.
He however called on all Ghanaians, especially the Ashantis to vote NPP and Dr Mahamodu Bawumia out of power because all their promised projects are all rhetorics and can never be implemented.
