The former Ashanti Regional National Security Coordinator in the previous NDC government, Mr Enoch Nsiah Amoako has condemned statements made by the running of the NPP Hon Mathew Opoku Prempeh that Asantes should not vote for John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming general election.
Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh in his engagement with party members in Ashanti region indicated that the NDC has nothing better for Asanteman hence, the party should not be voted in power on December 7.
Added that those who will vote for NDC will be under a curse.
Addressing the media in Kumasi, Mr Enoch Nsiah Amoako indicated that Asanteman see progress anytime NDC is in power so Napo’s statement is uncalled for.
He mentioned that businesses and business men in Asanteman are suffering due to nuisance taxes they are paying.
According to the former National security coordinator, if Napo have the development of Asanteman in heart, he would have influenced the government to do better in the region.
Added that, construction of Suame interchange, Phase two of Kejetia market and Boankra in land port is projects are scam just to win vote.
He was of the view that the NPP know that Suame interchange and Boankra projects can’t be completed in the given time but they deliberately cut sod just to deceives Asanteman.
Therefore he is calling on people in Ashanti region to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama.
