Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional Minister, has welcomed ACP Francis Kuame Somia, the newly appointed Second-in-Command (2iC) of the Ashanti Central Police Command, to the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).
The meeting focused on security matters and collaboration between the government and the police service.
Dr. Amoakohene reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the police service in maintaining peace, law, and order in the region.
The Regional Minister expressed his desire to work closely with ACP Somia to advance safety and security in the Ashanti Region.
“I wish ACP Somia well in his new role and look forward to working closely with him in advancing the safety and security of the Ashanti Region,” Dr. Amoakohene stated.
This meeting signifies the government’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with law enforcement agencies and enhance regional security.
With ACP Somia on board, the Ashanti Central Police Command is expected to benefit from his expertise and leadership in maintaining law and order .
