The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) team of Mankranso Senior High School has expressed heartfelt appreciation to the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, for his continuous support and generosity towards the school.
In a video message, the students thanked the DCE for the donations he has made to the school, including a GH¢10,000.00 cash reward, a feast for over 1,200 students, and his recent promise to renovate the school’s Physics Laboratory with air conditioners and modern scientific equipment.
The team described Hon. Sedik’s gesture as a great motivation that has boosted their confidence ahead of the semi-final stage of the national competition.
“We are very grateful to Hon. Abubakar Sedik for his love and support. His encouragement means a lot to us, and we promise to make him and the entire Ahafo Ano South West District proud by qualifying for the final,” the students said in the video.
The Mankranso SHS team’s impressive performance in this year’s NSMQ has been a source of pride for the entire district, with many residents and old students rallying behind them as they prepare for the next stage of the competition.
