Ashanti Regional Minister Lauds NHIA Team For Improving Healthcare Delivery

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene,has received a courtesy call from the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, along with his deputies and management team, at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC).

This meeting marks a significant step in strengthening the partnership between the NHIA and the regional government, with a focus on advancing the Authority’s mandate and improving healthcare delivery in the region.

During the meeting, Dr. Bampoe and his team updated Dr. Amoakohene on the progress of their work, highlighting the prompt disbursement of funds to health facilities and the establishment of modern district offices to enhance accessibility and service delivery.

The NHIA leadership sought the Regional Minister’s support in furthering their objectives, demonstrating the importance of collaboration in achieving quality healthcare for all Ghanaians.
