Tension is roaring its ugly head as the people of Diaso in the Upper Denkyire West District of the Central region are accusing their DCE, Hon Richmond Koduahfor middling in chieftaincy affairs.

According to the people of Diaso the DCE is openly taken sides with a chieftaincy issue that has bedeviled the area for some time now.

The people are lacing their boots for a possible show down since the DCE has not been a peace maker towards the issue.

They are also accusing the DCE of allowing himself to be used by his father, Mr Yaw Koduah , who is a member of other factions in the chieftaincy issue to terrorize them and anyone who is seen as a threat to his interest.

“How can a DCE be involved in such a matter that has the potential to wreck the town. This isn’t good at all and he must be called to other”, they told our news team.

Our checks have confirmed that the chieftaincy matter has resulted in several clashes and resultant deaths.

Sources gathered by our news team in the Diaso community indicates that the District Chief Executive for Upper Denkyire West, Hon Richmond Koduah has connived with his father to abrogate B.O.T contract signed by his predecessor for the construction of shops in the Diaso Market area.

They have consequently shared the shops with the construction firm, His father , himself and other people in their chieftaincy issue agenda.

The DCE and his father again have been accused of selling state lands in Diaso , particularly the rest house.

This has brought tension in the community and residents have vowed to fight for the community.
We were told that the DCE is using his position to fight for his father’s family on the chieftaincy matter in the Diaso Community.

They are appealing to the Ministry of Local government and Decentralization and the Government to come to aid to avoid any major problem in the community.
Numerous attempts to get the DCE for his side of the story have proved futile since he has refused to talk.
